In philly- it's so interesting here. The city is so . . . old. And so fundamentally just American. The streets are so narrow. Of course right now, so is my mind. Ive only been able to think inwardly all day, it's insane. Its like that scene from Igby goes down here his dad says he "feels this great . . . pressure." I can barely breath sometimes, my chest feels so tight. The thoughts in my head are on loop and I can't switch them, or change them, hum a different tune. Hopefully the conference tomorrow can help turn my mind outward a bit so I can at least pretend to be more engaged.
