This article ASTOUNDED me. And in the comments one person makes the point that probably a hefty fraction of the women discharged under the "don't ask, don't tell" policy were victims of sexual harassment.
49% of those discharged under the policy from the airforce were women. What the hell?!

Stupid policy to begin with, but even scarier when you think about the statistics of that. Either there's a bunch of lesbians in the air force, which is highly likely, but not anymore likely then having a bunch of lesbian fire fighters or in the police force. So if they are anything like the police force then either they are easier to discover than men (wtf?) or a good number of them are victims of sexual harassment, probably from superiors, and pose a threat to some guys fat ego.

The problem is it doesn't matter which one it is, either way it's fucked up.
