"I know what I know, i know that girl you found . . . she'll turn into the only thing the only thing you ever . . . turn into, hope i do, turn into you" yeah yeah yeahs

Roller coasters. A perpetual fear factor, an up and down whirlwind of uncertainty. When you're up, the only thing you're doing is looking down. How far will it go? How bad will it be? We don't realize that we're blanketed by nothing but sky. We've just taken an elevator to a clear sky and a gorgeous view.

Maybe a roving eye will catch a glimpse of what it's like to be so far away from the crags in the ground that make you stumble quickly and unexpectedly. But the fall is inevitable. There is no good without evil.

And while we fall our hearts reverberate in our chests, our lungs collapse momentarily. We stop breathing for a second. Then the gulp of air as the cart slows down, and begins to rise again. As we rise up farther and farther from the fall, we breath, recover from that express train to adrenaline rush.

There is no good without evil, not happy without sad, and no amazement without disappointment. There's no black without white, and I'd do good to remember that.

The only thing I would wish on this planet is the eradication of war. War and peace are NOT opposites. There can be peace without the senseless slaughter of millions. People have enough internal and societal wars without needing national ones. We can know freedom without having been oppressed and caged. Conflict is the opposite of peace, and doesn't have to mean death.
