"And if you go chasing rabbits, and you know you're going to fall, tell 'em a hookah smoking caterpillar has given you the call, call alice when she was just small" Jefferson Airplane

Was already incredibly excited for the new Alice and Wonderland starring Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter (fairly good indicator then that it's a tim burton movie). I didn't think I could get any more stoked, but then I saw the listing for the soundtrack.

!!!!

The only thing that could possibly make it more perfect is if White Rabbit was covered by The White Stripes, or better yet The Deadweather (which probably wouldn't be the best use of Jack White, but I do like the idea of keeping the vocals female). However, the listing's fairly good as it is. Most excited for the Wolfmother track, and most curious about the Avril Lavigne track and the Tokio Hotel track. Least excited about the Owl City track- it'll probably just be another Death Cab for Cutie soundalike. Not that they don't do a good Death Cab for Cutie/Postal Service sound, it's just veerrry familiar.
