I have long been in love with Emily Wells. When I first heard "black and blue" I fell deeply and madly in love with it. (see rather juvenile entry following; http://reenyp73.diaryland.com/041217_15.html)

Her sound has certainly developed over the years. The below video seems like a culmination of all her incredible work. I mean for gods sakes she brought out one of those toy mic's we used to get from mcdonalds!! I knew those things had a higher purpose. . .
