Viva mango smoothies and the palestinian movement.

now for some bloggings (Blog is probably my favorite self made verb. Followed closely by google. Google it man!)

The L word. So incredibly powerful. The things it entails! Such a spectrum. Life long devotion maybe? 30 second lust fest? Loyalty? White lies for some sort of twisted protection? Abases the mortal soul in the end, any kind of attachment does. It's like having another limb in essence, that's harder to control since it's of but not OF you. Meaning you have to watch out for scraps and bruises every time you turn around.
But maybe it's a good thing right? People are always saying "if only i had an extra set of arms" etc. Except for it's socially acceptable for these arms to embrace your person, without looking like a warped form of austin powers.

I would also like to address the P word while we are here. The Palestine word if you may. There will be a protest on 6th and congress Sunday at 3. Any attendance in solidarity of the movement is welcome. On this day in 1967 raids were conducted that began the occupation (side note, i can taste the protein in my smoothie. weird)

Since this invasion the Palestinian people have been forced to endure a 40 year occupation and all the pains and savagery associated with such an extended occupation. This weekend there are national calls for action across the country and here in Austin, CAMEO will be calling for a protest to be held at 6th & Congress this Sunday, June 10th at 3pm.
To continue planning and such, CAMEO will be having a meeting tonight at 7:30pm at Spyderhouse near 29th and Guadalupe.
We invite anyone that wants to help plan some ideas for the actions to join us.

I need to go back and read my open note to Israel for inspiration. I've been feeling so hopeless latley. I need a political boost.
