"The early morning, the city breaks, and I've been calling for years and years and years andyou never left me no messages . . . " You Found Me- The Fray 2010-01-23, 12:42 p.m.
I believe the essence of a person can be captured in small things they do. Actions that arent deliberate, or premeditated. Touching a light switch twice, the kinds of books you pull off the shelves at book stores, what makes you scrunch your nose, what makes you walk away, or walk towards something. When do you put your hands in your pocket, the position you rest your head when you've been sitting around for a long time and you're no longer paying attention to your posture. Do you talk with your hands? The kind of music you listen to when no one is around, what music makes you close your eyes and hold your breath. How loud you sing when there are other people around you. The things you put in your coffee, the order you put them in. The way you eat, the sorts of things that make you giggle. Interaction with others- when are you quiet, when do you speak up? What makes your face turn red with anger, what makes you blush, what makes you turn red because you want to laugh so hard but you know it's inappropriate. Lip biting. What makes you bite your lip?
What makes you lose your mind entirely? What makes you lose your heart, what makes it wrench? . . . What makes you cold? What makes you build a stone wall around your soul and keep it locked away?
You Found Me lyrics Songwriters: King, Joseph; Slade, Isaac;
I found God on the corner of 1st and Amistad Where the West was all but won All alone, smoking his last cigarette I said, "Where you been?" He said, "Ask anything"
Where were you when everything was falling apart? All my days were spent by the telephone that never rang And all I needed was a call that never came To the corner of 1st and Amistad
Lost and insecure, you found me, you found me Lying on the floor surrounded, surrounded Why'd you have to wait? Where were you? Where were you? Just a little late, you found me, you found me
But in the end everyone ends up alone Losing her, the only one who's ever known Who I am, who I'm not and who I wanna be No way to know how long she will be next to me
Lost and insecure, you found me, you found me Lying on the floor surrounded, surrounded Why'd you have to wait? Where were you? Where were you? Just a little late, you found me, you found me
The early morning, the city breaks And I've been calling for years and years and years and years And you never left me no messages You never sent me no letters You got some kind of nerve taking all I want!
Lost and insecure, you found me, you found me Lying on the floor, where were you? Where were you?
Lost and insecure, you found me, you found me Lying on the floor surrounded, surrounded Why'd you have to wait? Where were you? Where were you? Just a little late, you found me, you found me!
